Wildlife

Both for work, and out of personal interest, I get to travel to wonderful places around the world. As a biologist and wildlife enthusiast, I take this opportunity to photograph the amazing fauna I get to witness. Below is a small selection of these photos. Most of them were clicked in India, but there’s also a photo or two from Jamaica.

Events

“Field Trip” is a joint residency programme between Akademie Schloss Solitude and the Department for the Ecology of Animal Societies, Max Planck Institute of Animal Behavior. As part of this exchange, we organised “Umwelt”, a visual and acoustic festival. The event was conducted at a local club where art by scientists at the Max Planck Institute of Animal Behavior was on display along with DJ mixes of animal vocalisations put together by our resident artist Yashas Shetty. As the designate photographer for the event, the photos below show my effort in capturing this event.
